Smart Ads Enhancements and Pay Per Candidate Round Out New Yahoo! HotJobs Products Introduced at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Annual Conference

Yahoo! Inc. rolled out a suite of new products at the 61st Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Annual Conference being held in New Orleans, June 28 – July 1. The products are aimed at helping recruiters find the right candidates faster and more efficiently, and include:

Real-time Twitter Integration: Yahoo! HotJobs is providing Twitter users with real-time job listings

Smart Ads Enhancements: Yahoo! HotJobs expanded its program for matching specific jobs with jobseekers through customized display advertisements. The enhancements expand the programís reach and flexibility.

Pay Per Candidate: Announced last week, Yahoo! HotJobs is formally introducing the industryís first performance-based product that gives recruiters the option to pay per candidate

HotJobsí real-time Twitter integration of listings gives our users immediate visibility into the jobs theyíre most interested in, which is important to both candidates and recruiters,î said Chris Merritt, vice president and general manager, Yahoo! HotJobs. ìThe products weíre rolling out at SHRM this year demonstrate that Yahoo! HotJobs is more focused than ever on helping recruiters maximize their resources and find the right candidates.î

Real-time Twitter Integration: Understanding how important it is for recruiters to reach job seekers wherever they are spending their time, Yahoo! HotJobs is tapping into the Twitter audience by ìtweetingî job opportunities in real-time. Twitter users will have two options to receive job listings: they can choose to ìfollowî any of Yahoo! HotJobsí 100 pre-defined category-location job feed accounts (e.g., Sales in Chicago) or they can receive job alerts through their Twitter account that match their criteria. Both provide real-time updates, rather than feeds once per day, giving ìfollowersî a leg up in this competitive job market and recruiters immediate access to potential candidates.

Smart Ads Enhancements: First introduced at last yearís SHRM Annual Conference, Yahoo! HotJobs Smart Ads turns job listings into personalized display ads and delivers them to active and passive jobseekers across the Yahoo! Network. Now Smart Ads can support international positions and locations, and it no longer requires a four-job minimum for recruiters. Combining Yahoo!ís massive reach and industry-leading targeting capabilities, recruiters can serve targeted job listings and achieve 20 percent higher response rates through Smart Ads.

Pay Per Candidate: In addition to the Twitter integration and Smart Ads enhancements, Yahoo! HotJobs recently launched Pay Per Candidate. Marking a significant shift in the industry, recruiters are only charged when a candidate clicks through to the recruiterís site or applies for a position on the HotJobs Web site after passing a customized questionnaire. Recruiters can control budgets by capping the number of pre-screened candidates they receive per job posting, and unused credits can be rolled over to other open positions.
