workthing sites increase traffic and further improve candidate profile according to NORAS

Online recruitment solution provider announces significant growth

Workthing,online recruitment solutions provider, owned
by the Guardian Media Group, today announced significant growth in its job-board traffic coupled with an impressive ABC1, highly educated job-seeker profile.

Growth has been fuelled by a year of highly targeted online marketing campaigns that resulted in 644,303 unique users in October 2003 - a growth of 15% from the same period in 2002. 75% of Workthing users were ABC1.

These findings were taken from the third wave of the National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS) and an independent site audit from eABC.

Andy Baker, Managing Director of Workthing commented: Weíve achieved exactly what we set out to do - offer recruiters a greater exposure to job-seekers without compromising our candidate profile. Increasingly recruiters will be able to use data like NORAS to distinguish the differences between different job sites.

Itís been a fantastic result, we received 1.3 million visitors to the site in October 2003 and successfully attracted high quality ABC1 job-seekers in some of our key sectors like retail, leisure, engineering and finance.
