WikiJob has released a new version of their website following a year of intense technical development that has seen the company’s IT team double in size.
The site’s new design is a giant leap forward, technically superior and more professional in terms of look and feel. Everything has been streamlined to focus on the most important parts of a user’s experience: making job applications, using discussion forums and researching companies.
Further social features have also been added, including, for the first time, Linkedin style user profiles. By providing this kind of added value for users, WikiJob expect candidates to deeper embed themselves into the site, allowing companies to recruit candidates in more intelligent, targeted ways.
The advanced new site represents a first step in a series of developments that will take WikiJob from it’s previous incarnation as a traditional job board and discussion forum to a highly tuned mechanism for connecting employers and job seekers.
Founder and Technical director Chris Muktar has said: “the team at WikiJob are delighted to announce our new platform has now gone live!”
“With this new site design we’re proud to offer clients a vastly improved recruitment tool, something special that will deliver a service unmatched by our competitors.”
“We’ve been helping match companies with candidates for six years and over this time we’ve learnt what people really want from us. The aim with our new site is to deliver all the tools our users and clients have been asking for, to provide the best recruitment service imaginable to everyone.”
“Since the new site went live we’ve already noticed traffic to WikiJob start increasing and importantly, site stickiness--the amount of time a user spends on the site--increase dramatically too.”
