Websalvo Comes Online - 09/2000

An initiative to develop unique opportunities on the web for recruitments.

On 1st September 2000, www.websalvo.com is launched to offer an innovative service for the recruitment industry. Websalvo, is a tool that enables the easy multiple placements of job advertisements on the 4,200 Internet job boards. It then supplies automated management of responses with all that implies for the efficient time management of busy consultants.

WebSalvo is the product of two years pioneering research conducted by a team made up of both IT and recruitment professionals who saw a need to simplify and raise standards for the expanding role of on-line recruitment.

Marc Hendrickse, WebSalvoís 33 year-old Operations Director, has extensive experience as an IT manager and as a recruitment consultant. He has worked in the financial services, IT and major engineering projects sectors. He explains: ìWe identified the need for a simple way of harnessing the web as a completely reliable tool to advertise via as many job boards as required at the touch of a button. This is then combined with an automated and discreet ìback officeî service for the processing of all responsesî.

WebSalvo is not itself a job board. As an Application Service Provider (ASP) it intends to become a major e-cruiting technology enabler. The service is not available from any other supplier is easy to use; and eliminates most of the administrative burden that leading recruitment companies now bear when dealing directly with the abundance of job boards promoting their individual services.

ìIt may well be that, in time, the recruitment industry will largely transform itself into a web-based ìe-cruitment businessî says Marc Hendrickse. ìIf such is to be the case then WebSalvo is uniquely poised to accelerate the process in a painless and user-friendly way for all of its recruitment industry clientsî.
