Vacancy Filler Unveils New “Self Service” Reporting Module and Integrated Background Screening Functionality at CIPD Recruitment Exhibition

15 - 16 June 2016 - Olympia West, London, Stand Number R225

Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software, leading supplier of cloud-based online recruitment systems, is showcasing both its new reporting module, called Vacancy Filler Business Intelligence - as well as its new integrated background screening functionality, at the CIPD Recruitment Show.    The new tools will empower recruiters to make informed decisions and in the case of the reporting tool, share discoveries from data without having to request it from the IT department.

Reporting  was also the topic of the talk by Tony Brookes, Sales Director, Vacancy Filler at the show  entitled, “Why Marmite Lovers Are Better Employees: Using your ATS to Highlight and Report on Existing  Business Trends.”

Tony commented, “Using the data that companies collect during the recruitment process, we can help them to understand the unused power and potential that this data has for reporting and for identifying trends within their organisation.  This new module provides a comprehensive business intelligence capability that is ready to use straight out of the box. The Vacancy Business Intelligence software allows HR professionals and anyone involved in recruitment to engage in intelligent and intuitive reporting for the most essential part of their business – employees.   It is, in effect, self-service Business Intelligence.”

Increasingly, legal requirements mean that some businesses need to be able to provide comprehensive reports around equal opportunities, equality and diversity in their hiring process.    In addition, the business benefits from having clear information should they be accused of an unfair or biased recruitment process.    A recent survey by Vacancy Filler of organisations who recruited on a regular basis found that 80% of those surveyed said that reporting capabilities were at least an ‘important’ part of the recruitment process 1 and the new Business Intelligence Tool will make processing such information much easier and faster.

With the new tool, information regarding recruitment trends and recruitment campaign results are all easily available, allowing data to be correlated effectively, and a much more precise focus to be brought to recruitment campaigns.

Alison Wheeler, People Director at The Original Factory Shop, said, “We have been working with Vacancy Filler to create a set of reports and a dashboard that emulate the in house excel spreadsheets we were using, and I am looking forward to seeing the benefit in terms of reduced time to create reports and enhanced interrogation of data.”
