- Platform allows companies to post jobs themselves
- New platform will allow for greater employer branding
Totaljobs.com has re-launched its successful e-Commerce platform, which allows companies to post jobs on its website themselves in four easy steps. The service has notched up growth of 80% year-on-year, attracting around 15,000 customers in 2011, as small companies make the switch from print classifieds to online. The re-launched platform at http://recruiters.totaljobs.com will make placing a job on the UK’s largest and fastest growing recruitment website even easier and allow those that take advantage to include employer branding to help make their ads stand out.
John Salt, Website Director at totaljobs.com says of the services success:
“We are not surprised to have seen the growth we have with our self service option. With more employers, particularly from small businesses, questioning the cost effectiveness of classified print ads, we’ve set out to complement our account managed service, which is second to none, with something for those that needed a quick, simple and effective online option.”
With the re-launched platform, totaljobs.com is building on success to ensure it is in the best place to help firms migrate from print to online and make the process as straight-forward as possible. The re-launch now makes placing a recruitment ad on totaljobs.com even easier, akin to shopping online. The ability to add employer branding, for example logos, and buy-per-use access to the library of 3.8 million CVs that totaljobs.com hosts, also ensures that companies will get the right applicants for them. All of this is underpinned by online support and help for those who are new to online recruitment.
John Salt continues: “Many small businesses don’t recruit particularly often and when they do, they don’t have a huge amount of budget nor a specialised team to manage the process. It is a task that has to be fitted alongside a thousand others and one that can have a fundamental impact on the dynamic of a small team. As a result, many don’t need a managed account. Instead, they need something quick, cost effective but that is also going to be able to get them the candidates that they need. With this new platform, we believe we have improved still further on a service that helps to achieve all that.”
