Totaljobs.com increases workforce by 20 per cent

.

Bucking the economic downturn, one of the UK's leading recruitment websites - totaljobs.com - is meeting increased demands by expanding its sales force
by more than 20 per cent.

As the online recruitment industry undergoes further consolidation, a number of major players continue to dominate the marketplace. totaljobs.com is one
of the few UK job boards to see a sustained revenue increase with recorded year on year growth, in quarter one, hitting 62 per cent. This bolstered workforce is a reflection of totaljobs.com's progress and follows a 15 per
cent staff increase last July.

The new sales staff will focus on servicing recruiters across all industry sectors with particular emphasis on solving recruitment problems for SME and
public sector clients.

Commenting on the recruitment drive, Keith Robinson, chief operations director for totaljobs.com said: The continuing unstable economic climate means it's increasingly important for employers to recruit the highest quality candidates at the best price. Companies are beginning to realise
the value of using job boards to solve their staffing issues as they benefit from the same breath of candidates without the heavy costs incurred through
traditional recruitment consultancies.
