Totaljobs.com boasts the most jobs in Scotland

Totaljobs.com has significantly increased its Scottish offering, boasting more jobs than any competitor, even as the economic slowdown continues to affect the online UK recruitment industry.

ìTotaljobs.com has been committed to the Scottish jobs market since we opened our Scottish office over two years ago. We have considerably grown in that time and can now say we have more jobs than any of our competitors, offering Scottish jobseekers the widest range of vacancies in Scotlandî, Nick Goldstein, totaljobs.com Scotland Sales Manager said.

Totaljobs.com currently has over 5,000 Scottish jobs, whilst long standing S1jobs has the second biggest offering with around 4,500 advertised jobs.

The current recession has seen businesses across the UK cut back on recruitment costs which includes the advertising of vacancies, however totaljobs.com are bucking the trend in Scotland, carrying around 1,000 more jobs than this time last year.

Nick Goldstein, totaljobs.com Scotland Sales Manager believes in these uncertain times, it is essential that prospective and current clients are aware of the commitment and increasing presence totaljobs has obtained in Scotland.

ìIn the face of a tough economic climate providing jobseekers with access to the most relevant jobs has never been more important. Through a combination of our understanding of the Scottish recruitment market and our ability to consistently deliver quality response for our advertisers, totaljobs.com has increased the number of advertised vacancies to provide the largest choice for Scottish jobseekersî, he said.

A heavy weight Scottish radio campaign in October 2008 combined with a dedicated Scottish sales team has resulted in totaljobs.com growing its Scottish footprint, and will continue to demonstrate this type of commitment in 2009.
