Topaz Providing ROI Impact For Opera Group

Topaz Financials is providing a dramatic ROI impact and enhanced reporting procedures for pioneering recruitment company Opera Group.

Opera Group employs around 100 permanent staff and has a network of UK branch offices and was the first recruitment company to launch ëon campusí facilities to offer and organise part-time employment to university students. It also has specialist Freight Logistics and Workworld divisions, as well as a financial services company, Merlin Financial Consultants.

Accounting, payroll, statutory and administrative functions of the nationwide branch network are handled by Opera Holdings, which had previously been using a bespoke accounting system that had become outdated.

Topaz Financials was brought on board to integrate with Safe Tempest Pay and Bill and LSM Recruitment Solutions, IQX front office system and produce dynamic reporting capability with modern accounting procedures to speed up month end duties.

The Topaz software made such a time-saving impact that when an accounting assistant left the company to be with her partner in Switzerland, three months after the system was installed, there was no need to find a replacement.
