TMP takes home 6 awards at the Recruitment Advertising Awards (RAD) 2003

.

TMP Worldwide, the UK's largest recruitment advertising and communications company, swept the board at the 2003 Recruitment Advertising (RAD) Awards. TMP, also the world's largest online career network with its Monster brand, collected six awards, including the most prestigious one, Best Work of the Year, for its London Fire Brigade Campaign. The glittering ceremony, which took place at Grosvenor House, London, last Thursday night, gathered over 900 leading professionals from the recruitment and personnel industry.

TMP's work with the London Fire Brigade was also awarded the Outdoor & Ambient Media award. Using the 'H' symbol to foster a link between fire hydrants and rugby goal posts, the advertising campaign successfully boosted female recruits to the fire service. The judges, selected from major blue chip companies, recruitment agencies and consultancies, said of the winning advertisement: Well targeted, uncomplicated and succinct, this poster is very effective and well executed.

The recruitment advertisement designed by TMP for Idexx Laboratories obtained the Health, Science, Social Care & Charities award. The judges agreed that this campaign was an original concept and (was) very well targeted. As well as being innovative it converts well from off-line to on-line. It's a good call to action to get onto the web site.

The 2003 Recruitment Brochures awards went to TMP for their work for Samworth Brothers, whilst the web campaign that TMP developed for Sainsbury's was recognized with the Best Online Marketing Campaign award. The judges described the work carried out for Sainsbury's as a well targeted campaign that attracted a high click through rate.
The Metropolitan Police's campaign was awarded the Direct Marketing award. The judges explained that this creative took the award for being simple, well designed, and well targeted.

UK CEO of TMP Advertising & Communications, John Tarrant, said: To achieve this level of industry recognition is testimony to the quality of our work and the quality of our people. But without our clients and our passion for providing excellent service, we wouldn't be here. Well done to everyone at TMP who has been involved in this great success and I look forward to our continued high quality of creativity and achievement.

High praise must also go to the 10 other nominations TMP Worldwide received.
