Thomson NETg cuts cost of international payroll through Ceridian Centrefile

.

Thomson NETg, the worldwide leader in corporate education, has cut its administrative overheads by outsourcing the payroll for its European staff to one supplier. Thomson NETg is using Ceridian Centrefile to maximise efficiency for the payroll of over 200 employees in the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland.

Simon Alsop, Finance Director of Thomson NETg, said:

ìPreviously, we had to manage relationships with different service providers in each country, which involved a great deal of co-ordination and time, and impacted our internal resource. With the centralised service managed for us by Ceridian Centrefile, we have been able to ensure the fast and effective delivery of payroll to a high standard.î

Bill Thomas, Group Director of Ceridian Centrefile, said:

ìThomson NETg is a good example of the benefit that our International Payroll Service brings to clients.

We provide a ëone-stop shopí: no need to hunt around for a local supplier, no language problems, and no worries about local payroll compliance.

ìThe world is becoming smaller, and global business is no longer the preserve of the corporate giant. These days, organisations of all sizes have multinational operations. By outsourcing to a specialist such as Ceridian Centrefile, the customer is free to concentrate on making their business a success, without worrying about critical, yet non-core, activities such as payroll.î
