The Wall Street Journal’s online network sites win 2003 WebAwards

.

The Wall Street Journal’s RealEstateJournal.com, StartupJournal.com, CollegeJournal.com, CareerJournal.com and OpinionJournal.com were honored in the 2003 WebAward Competition sponsored by The Web Marketing Association.
RealEstateJournal.com, The Wall Street Journal’s Guide to Property, was named Outstanding Web site in the Real Estate category. RealEstateJournal.com is the Internet’s premier site for people seeking real estate guidance for both commercial and residential properties.
According to the WebAward judges, RealEstateJournal.com is a tremendous resource for those making their way through the sometimes scary real estate marketplace. No unnecessary use of bells and whistles, just a lot of content simplified by using technology.
Four other Web sites from The Wall Street Journal’s Online Network received Standard of Excellence Web site designations. They are:
StartupJournal.com - The Wall Street Journal’s center for entrepreneurs seeking guidance on starting or buying a business or franchise in the Small Business Category.
CollegeJournal.com - The Wall Street Journal’s free site for career-minded college students in the Education category.
CareerJournal.com - The Wall Street Journal’s executive career site in the Employment Category. CareerJournal.com features more than 30,000 top-level jobs and 2,500 articles on all aspects of job hunting and career management.
OpinionJournal.com - The free Web site from The Wall Street Journal’s editorial page in the Advocacy Category.

The WebAward Competition for Web site excellence, now in its seventh year, judges Web site development against an ever-increasing Internet standard and against peer sites within the industry. Entries were ranked based on design, navigation, innovation and usefulness to target audience.
The WebAward Competition is produced by the Web Marketing Association, an independent volunteer organization founded with the purpose of setting a high standard for Internet marketing and site development on the World Wide Web.
