The Ultimate Career Break

Everything is fine, nice and good. But do you get the feeling there is more to life than work/sleep/work/sleep? Sometimes we can reach a certain level in our career and feel like weíve hit a ceiling. But there are incredible experiences to be had elsewhere in the world, which you donít want to miss out on before itís too late. The question is, how do you go about making these experiences a reality?

Thankfully career breaks are now a much more accepted option for people wanting to see the world, meet new people and get some new perspective. Employers are beginning to recognise that the skills acquired during a career break can be invaluable not only you as an individual but also to the workplace you return to.

One of the most rewarding career break options is to offer your time as a volunteer where you not only gain valuable experience but have the opportunity to travel and experience other cultures.
