JobServe have introduced several major changes to their job searching website.
The upgrade to the site, which went live today, has a number of new features that will deliver dramatically improved responses to the job advertisements published on their site.
Robbie Cowling, MD and founder of JobServe said, ìI am really excited about this upgrade and I have to thank all of our users because many of the new and improved features have been as a result of their feedback and suggestions.î
Robbie added, ìThe most popular request from the job seeker was to include a salary or contract rate search refiner. Pay is an issue for a significant number of workers - many are disappointed with what they earn or how much of a pay rise they received ñ so I guess that it was not too surprising to learn that in feedback to us, jobseekers said they will apply for jobs where this information is displayed.î
A unique distance indicator bar has also been introduced to show how close a job is to the candidateís chosen location, so when towns or cities are specified they can refine or expand the radius.
ìIím very excited about this addition. Including the employerís post code when posting their ads - which will not be displayed in the job listing ñ will ensure an advertiserís vacancy will be included in every relevant searchî, Robbie concluded.
Other new features include:
Reduced duplicate applications. JobServe will display a greyed out Applied button on any job a jobseeker has already applied for.
Additional search fields. Helps jobseekers with the relevant requirements to accurately find jobs more easily.
Choice of search method. To cater for all types of jobseekers, JobServe has ensured Basic Text, Boolean or Math search principles are fully supported.
Star scoring system. Makes adverts highly visible to jobseekers who are an exact match.
Jobs sent in multiple formats. Advertisers can be confident their jobs will get exposure to a diverse, flexible and time-poor group of individuals, how and when they want them and wherever they happen to be.
