TempWorks Software, a provider of staffing software and business service solutions for the staffing and human resource industries, today announced the strategic expansion of its back office processing center in Eagan, MN.

The center delivers on-demand solutions for staffing companies across North America, including enterprise staffing software, payroll processing and funding, invoicing, collections and disaster recovery services. Having signed a total of 14 new accounts to its processing division in 2008, TempWorks has vastly expanded its outsourcing staff and data centers. Payroll and accounting specialists have joined the TempWorks team, and high-availability blade servers streamline operations from both its main and backup data centers. Through its staffing company clients, the center provides the primary workforce management system for large corporations and various branches of the federal government, processing more than five million transactions per year.

Although the faltering economy has thrown several public staffing companies into bankruptcy, other firms are finding prosperity through outsourcing. By cutting out inefficient, paper-intensive internal processing and the accompanying non-revenue generating personnel, these companies are finding they can get better logistics, paperless processes, and a huge boost to their bottom line.

Clients say that outsourcing to TempWorks attacks root inefficiencies from applicant on-boarding to electronic billing. Eliminating paper applications is often the first phase of the overhead reduction. Instead of internal staff administering paper applications, an online process with an electronic W-4, I-9 and other forms follow the candidate through their employment life cycle. ìTransferring and storing that paper amounts to large unnecessary costs that tie up personnel and reduce profitability. Instead, electronic apps instantly make recruiters aware of incoming talent and the associated revenue opportunities,î remarks TempWorks President David Dourgarian. ìWeíre able to take a birdís eye view of the back office processes and leverage technology to create efficiency and profitability where itís needed most,î continues Dourgarian.

Ed Luna, owner of rapidly expanding One Source Staffing based in Omaha, recently partnered with TempWorks on a two-year contract that calls for close integration between the two companies, according to Luna. ìWith TempWorks, weíre able to focus on what we do best, getting great staff to our clients,î remarks Luna.
