Heís had a successful career creating some of the technology that you and I use every day. Heís written best selling books and is highly visible on the speaking circuit.

His name is Li Kai Fu and he is a talent magnet.

Mr. Li works for Google but back in the 90ís he set up Microsoftís Beijing research laboratory, the first Microsoft laboratory to be founded outside of the United States. Googles hired him away last year with an undisclosed package. Now he is one of Googleís big assets when it comes to hiring new staff, and heís in charge of creating Googleís research laboratory in China ....

Ask any techie in China who he would most want to work with and he will probably answer Li Kai Fu. In fact, you could probably get the same result if you asked any non-technical graduate in China. In the first 2 months after he joined Google the company is reported to have received 10,000 unsolicited resumes from interested professionals.

But what applies to Li Kai Fu also applies to any individual that other people want to work with. It could be your main competitorís Sales Manager, or their Chief Engineer. Bring this person onboard and you get a double benefit. Itís called íHiring to Hurtí.

But always remember. Li Kai Fu used to work for Microsoft.
