That is exactly what happened to Cambridge and Peterborough based Sphere Financial Recruitment, which has grown rapidly over the last four years by providing specialist recruitment services to major employers across the region.
The company commissioned research among its client base and discovered that not only were employers keen to cut down on the numbers of individual suppliers they dealt with, but would welcome the companyís development into other related services.
The result of the feedback is the launch of The One Group, a company that will continue to offer specialist financial recruitment but which will also be offering a portfolio of new services including training and development, staff retention programmes and executive search.
Commenting, company director Tristan Drane said: ìThe research also took in the views of candidates and our own teams in Cambridge and Peterborough. The overwhelming conclusion was that re-branding to The One Group would give us a strong platform on which to grow the business.
