SHL has revamped its training offer on two counts to provide increasingly time poor HR professionals with an accessible and interactive blended learning programme which will qualify them to administer and interpret psychometric assessments.
The emphasis on blended learning comes in response to SHL research on e-learning which found that neither pure classroom learning nor 100% online training is effective for most people. SHLís refreshed training programme brings together the best of both techniques ensuring that HR professionals benefit from comprehensive training in a user friendly format.
Created in conjunction with Epic, specialists in e-learning solutions, SHLís online training also includes new features including a Virtual Consultant, a friendly face offering top tips and guidance on all aspects of SHLís assessments and the recruitment process itself.
Also benefiting from SHLís investment is its Academy, which now has a new home in top class surroundings within a prestigious Victorian style De Vere hotel at Hartsfield Manor in Surrey. A number of large training rooms as well as smaller syndicate rooms for break out sessions within the hotel have been dedicated to SHLís training programme.
Claire Little, Vice President of Training at SHL said, ìMoving the SHL Academy to brand new premises signals the start of a totally refreshed training offer with much improved facilities giving HR professionals a more sophisticated arena in which to learn.
ìWe want to ensure that becoming SHL accredited is as fulfilling as possible and investing in both the Academy and innovative online training is essential in helping us to keep the learning process energised and enjoyable.î
SHLís training courses provide development across a full suite of its products including OPQ (Occupational Personality Questionnaire), Sales Report, Dependability and its full range of ability tests; Verify Verbal, Numerical and Inductive Reasoning.
