Simply put it is the full consultancy recruitment service for a fixed price of £999 - that’s any vacancy, any sector in any  location for the same fixed price.

The business is a direct response to the need for a known recruitment cost for employers / HR Directors and Managers in a tough economy.

My business partner and I own Pinstripe People Ltd, however Recruitment 999 is a new Ltd business, which will stand alone in the market.

Our aim is to appeal to customers who use traditional consultancy based recruitment services but who feel that the prices are too high / unjustified etc and those who use computer generated CV matching services but need more of a service. The feedback we have had from the market suggests that employers and HR teams want to have a recruitment service (some tell us it is a necessity) , however the high % fees of most agencies is a big problem for them, particularly in this economy and the work they have to do with the cheaper CV matching services is very time consuming.

We have developed a model, which will allow a fixed cost (£999) for any vacancy in any sector and regardless of location

999 Vs Web Based Services:

The web based CV match services rely on the customer inputting all the details / qualifications etc that they require and a computer generated ‘matching’ service provides CV’s for them. So in reality the customer still has to sift through a large amount of CV’s from a computer generated search, screen all CV’s to create a short list, qualify the shortlist, arrange interviews and manage the process through to the candidates start date with them. There are naturally unknown hidden costs when a customer uses these matching services as you can see from the work they would have to do themselves.

999 Vs Traditional Agencies:

A recruitment agency offering a  % rate for their services would work out something like this:

  • Average / Standard cost: 20%
  • Discount % based on a volume of vacancies: 15%
  • Preferred Supplier List (PSL): 12%

So using the fees above a customer recruiting a candidate with a £22,500 salary would pay the following:

  • 20%: £4,500.00
  • 15%: £3,375.00
  • 12%: £2,700.00

As you can see this new model offers the benefits of a traditional recruitment service, where an experienced recruitment consultant provides a shortlist of qualified people and then manages the entire process for the customer but without a premium price.
