After more than a year in development, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has unveiled its new website, the latest flagship service enhancement developed entirely with the customer in mind.
The REC has completely overhauled the website, www.rec.uk.com to give members and all other visitors - a quarter of whom come from across the globe ñ the greatest possible accessibility to information, statistics, business aids, legal support, discounted services, training, qualifications and the latest legislative requirements.
Through the website, the REC can now deliver even more effectively and efficiently its widest range ever of information, services and benefits; and all are contained in hundreds of new pages specially created to house the confederationís ever-growing recruitment industry support assets.
Since its inception six years ago, the websiteís vital statistics have grown significantly from initially just 100 pages and 17,000 monthly visits to 800 pages and 142,000 visits up until last week.
The new-look website is the first phase of several changes due to take place over the next year. The outcome will be to provide a leading edge dialogue across the REC membership and associates as a ìmust haveî partnership for every recruiter serious about professional success.
Its eye-catching new design fully captures the RECís core role being placed at the heart of the recruitment industry. Through it being the industryís voice, members have the chance to respond directly on issues which matter to them.
Anita Holbrow, the RECís Director of Marketing, is delighted with the results of many hours of painstaking work carried out on the website development.
ìMy team has worked tirelessly over the past few weeks to develop every tiny detail of conversion, customisation, content-development and structuring of its usability. As a result, many hundreds of new links and pages have been created.
ìThe work undertaken has constructed an entirely new look and feel. The new website will without any doubt make the user experience significantly more enhanced ñ and we hope more pleasurable. ì
She added: ìThis web redevelopment is a landmark leap forward for the benefit of the REC members. It is only the beginning in revolutionising the interaction within the REC recruitment community and in doing so, will continue to strengthen the role of our members within the UK recruitment market.î
