The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), the professional association representing the UKís 27 billion private recruitment industry, has launched a major new initiative to help members survive and thrive in the recession.
The HELP Campaign – Beat The Recession - has been designed as a direct response to feedback the REC has gathered from its members over the past nine months
The six key elements of the campaign, now fully available online, give members expert guidance and advice which will be invaluable to all levels of recruitment professionals who face a dramatic downturn in their businesses.
The HELP Campaign comprises a package of exclusive tailored services:

3) Two new research reports - Riding The Recession and 7 Secrets of Successful Recruiters. Both are packed full of useful information and practical guidance from members who have already experienced previous recessions and those high-achievers wanting to pass on some of their proven methods of succeeding in recruitment
4) Beat the Recession Seminars at which recruitment experts will pick up on some of the topics raised in the two research reports to help recruiters survive and thrive in the current economic downturn
5) Ten Top Tips to achieve optimum performance are now available online. These include how to manage your cash more effecively in a downturn and understanding client needs
6) Corporate Member Handbook: the definitive guide to REC products and services to support recruitment businesses
Kevin Green explained: ìMany recruiters have been surprised by the speed of the downturn. So the REC has responded quickly by pulling together a multitude of new
services that will help them get through the recession.
ìIn particular, the Academy for Business brings all our professional development and business products under one roof supplementing what we are doing with our new account management system in making our services more centred on members and more accessible to them.î
