- Recruitment giant Randstad has launched the 13th edition of WorkPocket, its annual HR guide, with an engaging and ultra-intuitive interface
- For the first time, Workpocket appears in digital format, aiming to assist HR pros, employers, line managers and employees alike at the click of a button
Global recruiter, Randstad, has launched the 13th edition of its HR handbook, WorkPocket, in a digital format for the first time – disrupting the HR sector with a next generation, all-in-one resource for everyone seeking information on every kind of HR issue.
Users can navigate through a virtual world of work — WordPocket World — moving between five floors that contain true-to-life scenarios including animations about alcohol abuse, maternity leave, equal pay and other key HR issues in the workplace. The new layout aims to provide a more memorable, and mobile, approach to providing HR information.
WorkPocket is aimed at HR professionals, employers, line managers and employees alike, and is designed so that anyone can dip in and out of the resource and get the level of information they need. Topics range from on-boarding new starters and drafting ‘offer letters’ to employee rights and the latest legislation.
Mark Bull, UK CEO of global recruiter Randstad, comments:
“HR is a constantly evolving and often complex environment. It’s hard enough for the pros, but ludicrous to think that hard-pushed business owners and line managers should be able to keep track of every aspect of the employment cycle.
“In the past, WorkPocket has proved to be a popular resource for time-strapped smaller business owners and HR professionals – and in taking the step to digitise the handbook for the 13th edition, we’re hoping to make this vital information even more accessible.
“Creating a fun and interactive platform where people can visualise countless scenarios and effortlessly search for information on the area they’re interested in, will add value for all kinds of user and ensure HR best practice at every level.”
