Fashion retailer Peacocks have signed up with Cowbridge based Tazio to use their revolutionary new online video interview and applicant assessment platform VideoRecruiter.
VideoRecruiter lets employers publish a list of current vacancies and potential applicants can then apply for a job online by completing a series of qualifying questions and an automated video interview. The system significantly streamlines the recruitment process by automatically qualifying applicants, and then providing recruiters with recorded interviews which they can use to produce a shortlist or even recruit from.
Helen Rees, Group HR Director at Peacocks said “We are already nearing 600 stores geographically spread from the Highlands to Penzance employing some 9,500 employees. We have aggressive expansion plans to open a further 30 new Peacocks stores each year as well as operating overseas from another 100 locations”.
“We need to be ahead of the game to recruit the best people quickly, and geographical challenges slow the whole process down and increase the time frame to recruit. When people are looking for jobs they want a speedy response, and the best talent is snapped up rapidly. This is a great opportunity to overcome such challenges and we are excited to launch this in the New Year”.
Tom Stroud, Tazio’s MD said “We’re thrilled to secure such a high profile customer as Peacocks so quickly after the launch of VideoRecruiter. We’ve been convinced for a long time by the huge potential online video interviews offer and it’s been great to see such a positive response to the release of VideoRecruiter.
