Online recruitment sector encouraged by strong metrics and<br>universal accountability

.

GoJobsite.co.uk has announced record levels of traffic, confirmed by ABC ELECTRONIC, independent auditor of electronic media.

During July 2002, GoJobsite recorded 12,050,663 Page Impressions, an 11% increase on its previous audit of April 2002, and 1,507,757 Visits beating the April figure of 1,454,185.

More importantly, GoJobsite is pleased to announce that it has now managed to maintain over 1 million Visits since April 2001, an achievement hailed by Managing Director, Keith Potts: ìSince April of last year GoJobsite has
managed to maintain this superb level of traffic to the site. The amount of online jobseekers currently active across all the sites in the UK is tremendous news for advertisers and a tremendous statement for the online
recruitment industry as a whole.

ìThis clearly shows that online recruitment has not only grown and matured but it has firmly established itself as a UK Internet superpower! As we see the recruitment pages of the national, regional and trade press get thinner
we can see that candidatesí eyes are more and more turning online and increasing the quality dramatically - thereby giving a better return for recruiters and allowing vacancies to be filled faster and more efficiently.î

GoJobsite firmly believes that independently verified site data are the only reliable indicator of a siteís true performance, and that online recruitment
is progressing rapidly as an industry that understands the need for proper accountability for their advertisers. This can be seen by the sheer volume of online recruitment sites in the UK and Ireland that have now chosen to submit their metrics to independent scrutiny - knowing that this level of
clarity will have commercial benefits.

Richard Foan, MD, ABC ELECTRONIC comments: ìGoJobsite has shown real commitment to their advertisers by providing them with accountable data with which they can make astute investment decisions. The certified figures are
testament to the success of the site. ABC ELECTRONIC now audits over 10 of the leading Internet recruitment sites and with the well-received NORAS initiative this number is set to grow. The recruitment sector should be applauded for leading the way in Internet accountability and I look forward to other sectors following suit and benefiting accordingly.î
