Bauer Radio, one of the UKís largest commercial radio operators, has announced the expansion of its job site service following a successful first three months in operation.
The Workmoose service which was launched in January with Key103jobs covering Greater Manchester will now be extended across the North West with the launch of Radio City 96.7 and 97.4 Rock FM job sites to cover Merseyside and Lancashire.
Since its launch in January the number of unique users of Key103jobs has grown by 53% and the service offers over 2,500 live jobs within Manchester and Greater Manchester.
Recruiters using Workmoose which powers Key103Jobs, RadioCityjobs and RockFMjobs will have access to a dedicated campaign management team that helps to improve online advertising by offering tailor made packages (either as a stand alone station package or as a NW package) and constantly optimising the vacancies to ensure maximum response rates. The management team has almost doubled in size to keep up with the demand from all three sites, increasing from 15 to 26.
Radioís digital director Jonathan Turpin, formerly chief executive of fish4, was appointed in April last year with the specific remit of launching new radio-backed web businesses. He explains:
ìRadio and online recruitment campaigns combined are extremely effective and the combination of having recognised regional radio stations and also a North West offering allow recruiters to benefit from a highly targeted, cost effective service that totally challenges traditional recruitment advertising models.î
All of three services are being supported with sustained, high profile on-air, online and outdoor promotions designed to target jobseekers as well as those that are not actively seeking career moves but could be interested if they hear about new opportunities on Key 103, Radio City and Rock FM while theyíre driving to and from work or see our thought-provoking advertising campaigns around town.
