NHSDiscounts re-launches website as 125,000th member signs up

NHSDiscounts, the UKís largest benefits service dedicated to NHS employees, today celebrated signing up 125,000 members of its site by re-launching its website. The website, which now has over 30,000 nurses who are members, provides a wide variety of discounts on consumer and financial services products to key workers in the NHS.

Commenting on the re-launch of the site, Rob Sanders, Managing Director, NHSDiscounts, said, Reaching 125,000 members of the NHSDiscounts site shows that key workers in the NHS have recognised that by being part of a community such as this, there are real financial benefits to be had.

We are currently negotiating more offers for staff and have launched a dedicated HR portal for HR professionals in the NHS. The new portal will aid HR teams who are keen to publicise the benefits available through the site and who require more information on the take-up by NHS staff in their own NHS Trust area.

The additional features of the re-launched site include an enhanced search facility for members, clearer links to current deals on products and an improved community section for members.

NHSDiscounts recently reached the milestone of 125,000 users registered with the site. Some of the discounts available at the site include:

*20% off at Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Madame Tussauds
*6% off Thomas Cook holidays
*Reduced prices on chart CDs and DVDs with CD-WOW
