Learning Light (LL), a non-profit organisation, seeking to establish itself as a Centre of Excellence in the use of learning technologies in the workplace, has launched its updated website.
According to Mark Pittaway, LL’s chief executive: The new website more closely reflects LL’s growing range of services. In particular, the site includes information about LL’s three major activities: Membership Services, Research Services and Professional Development Services.
Our research is structured to help users understand what’s available and how to make it work, commented LL’s head of research, Jane Knight. In particular, we focus on market growth, trends and analysis; strategy and planning best practice; implementing best practice, and continuous improvement.
LL’s benefits packages for its members are designed to provide insightful research and links to the industry to enable members to make faster informed decisions, through our knowledge base; publications, papers, news, surveys and guides; networking events; professional services support and expert advice; workshops and training, commented Vaughan Waller, LL’s head of membership services.
We also supply buyer and supplier consultancy services - to help LL members understand what’s available and how to apply best practice to improve performance - in organisational assessments; strategy and planning; infrastructure design; blended learning design; tendering and procurement; deployment and implementation, as well as learning and development, Waller added. Further details of all these things are available on the new website.
In addition, the website explains LL’s mission, products and services. It also contains details of LL-related news and events, as well as a ’Frequently Asked Questions’ section about LL.
