New service from hacker young will help businesses attract and retain key employees

As businesses prepare for the Government’s far reaching reform of Occupational Pension Schemes, the financial planning arm of Hacker Young has launched a new service to help businesses through the minefield of new legislation, while also helping them attract and retain key members of
staff.

Hacker Young Financial Planning (HYFP), in conjunction with Thomson’s Benefit Consultants, is now offering a service to help businesses of all sizes set up and maintain tailored Employee Benefits Programmes.

Stephen Jones, Employee Benefits Consultant at HYFP, explains:

People are the greatest asset in any business. One way of attracting, motivating and retaining good staff is to establish and maintain a valuable employee benefits programme.

Many businesses recognise the advantages but worry about the cost of setting up such a programme, so we decided to offer business owners and managers a cost effective service to help them establish the most appropriate programme for their needs. Hopefully with our help, they will be able to build and keep a winning workforce.

Big legislative changes are afoot anyway, so now is a good time for businesses to review their benefit packages to make sure they are seen as competitive employers.

Core to HYFP’s new service is a fully integrated web-enabled employee benefits platform that provides access for both the employer and employees to view and manage all their employee benefits on-line through their own
company’s branded website.

The facility enables employers to offer a benefits ’cafeteria’ whereby the employee is allotted a certain value of benefits and they can select how to
spend that allowance, ranging from traditional pensions schemes to private healthcare or gym membership. The facility also allows on-line performance checks of pensions and daily price checks.

Businesses contacting HYFP before 1st March will be entitled to a no obligation complimentary employee benefits review that will provide a valuable insight into the appropriateness of their current employee benefits
packages.
