Net-Temps rolls out enhanced candidate manager for recruiters

Net-Temps announced it has implemented several new features and enhancements to its Candidate Manager to improve productivity and ease of use

Net-Temps, the job board for temporary, temp-to-perm and full-time employment through the staffing industry, announced today it has implemented several new features and enhancements to its Candidate Manager to improve productivity and ease of use. The Candidate Manager is a comprehensive set of recruiting tools designed to help users manage their job postings and resumes and streamlines the workflow and administrative tasks associated with the recruiting and placement process. The Candidate Manager is an integrated feature of the Net-Temps Recruiting Center and is included as part of the recruiterís membership at no additional cost.

Using a job and resume folders system, recruiters can view applications to their job postings at a glance and store and organize resumes of interest from the Net-Temps resume bank or from outside sources.

Developed by Net-Temps, the Candidate Manager instantly creates a folder for each job posting. When a candidate applies to the job, their resume and other application information is automatically stored in that job folder. Recruiters can then see at a glance any new applications received and review a candidate when convenient. The Candidate Manager also offers a set of tools giving recruiters the ability to communicate with candidates directly from their Recruiting Center. Any actions taken with a candidate are recorded and stored in the candidate history for easy reference. These tools include:

Email - choose from several generic email templates or create a custom email to send to one or multiple candidates

Status - assign a pre-defined or custom status to a candidate relative to where they stand in the application process

Email this resume - send a resume to a client or other email address

Rank - classify a candidate with a ranking of 1-10
Questionnaire - email a candidate a custom questionnaire to help in the screening process

Notes - add comments and notes about a candidate
Alerts - create and schedule an alert to act as a reminder of action items due

Report spam - eliminates junk mail in the Candidate Manager
