Monster and Consorte Media Form Alliance to Connect Employers with More Hispanic Job Seekers

Co-branded Career Site Career Latino Launches

MAYNARD, Mass. & SAN FRANCISCO - Monster and Consorte Media today announced an alliance to connect Monster's customers with a greater share of the online Hispanic market. Monster is the leading global online careers and recruitment resource and flagship brand of Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: MNST), and Consorte is the first company to develop a platform for reaching the more than 20 million online Hispanics in the U.S.

As part of the alliance, Monster and Consorte have launched Career Latino, a co-branded career website that gives employers an effective way to reach more Hispanic job seekers. The co-branded site will be a part of Consorte Media's extensive network of sites and independent blogs, focused on the Hispanic market, which includes large content sites as well as hundreds of smaller, niche properties.

Currently, Monster has approximately 1.8 million registered seekers who self-identify as Hispanic, demonstrating impressive reach among this demographic, noted Steve Pemberton, chief diversity officer, Monster. Our alliance with Consorte Media will help employers connect with additional Hispanic job seekers by enhancing their advertising visibility among both passive and active online candidates who visit sites falling within Consorte's network.

Consorte Media is committed to helping customers and partners reach a diverse audience, said Alicia Morga, founder and CEO of Consorte Media. Consorte's alliance with Monster further validates our premise that there is tremendous demand to connect with the Hispanic audience online, and that reaching this diverse community requires a targeted approach. We look forward to working with Monster to help its customers engage an even wider range of online Hispanics.

In addition to the opportunities afforded by the co-branded career site, Monster will also offer customers ad inventory from Consorte's Hispanic network.
