The world-renowned Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) has agreed a groundbreaking recruitment and training agreement with Acorn, Walesís largest recruitment and training group.

The agreement sees Acorn become a provider of recruitment and training services to WMC and the latest Corporate Member of the iconic complex.

WMC, which opened in 2004 in Cardiff Bay and has established a reputation as one of the worldís iconic arts and cultural destinations, has signed the business partnership deal with Acorn after discussions which began last year.

Dan Langford, Group Marketing & Communications Director at Acorn, said, ìThis is a partnership of two leading Welsh organisations.

ìAcorn has long been a supporter of charities, communities, education and sport in Wales; therefore we are delighted to extend our commitment into the arts for the first time by becoming a Corporate Member of the wonderful Wales Millennium Centre.î

Judith Isherwood, Chief Executive of WMC, added, ìWeíre delighted that Acorn has chosen to work in partnership with the centre, yet another leading Welsh brand that has seen the benefit of associating itself with one of the worldís premier arts institutions, and we very much welcome them on board.î
