Today, graduate recruitment website Milkround launches its bold and daring new ad campaign inspired by the seminal pop art movement.
Centred on the theme that “Milkround won’t help you conquer your fear of heights, but it will conquer your career fear”, the creative is modelled on Roy Lichtenstein’s iconic comic-book works of art, intended to add humour to the serious business of finding a job.
The campaign has already debuted at fresher and career fairs throughout the UK, and today features as a four-page cover wrap around Graduate Career, a quarterly supplement free with The Times with the latest news and features covering the graduate jobs market.
The striking wrap design created by London agency ThirtyThree uses comic-book styling, impactful bright colours and illustrations straight from the 1950s pop art movement.
Marketing Manager Alexandra Sydney said: “Our vision is to give students and graduates career confidence by using the number one graduate recruitment website Milkround. We wanted to present our vision in a fresh and fun way while retaining the serious message that we’re all about finding jobs. Conquering career fear is about Milkround giving students and graduates the confidence to go out and get the job they deserve with the mix of news, advice, internships and graduate roles on Milkround.”
Account Director at ThirtyThree, Ben Tinker said: “We were thrilled to be invited to work on this project with Milkround. A lot of thought went into the concept and execution of the creative. We hope the campaign continues to be well received.”
