The BPMA Clinics will run throughout the three days of the exhibition and include an impressive array of speakers and topics. On Monday 22nd February, Fotorama will present a clinic on ’Promotional risk management, the fixed fee technique.’ This will discuss what fixed fee is, how it works, when it should be used and how to manage promotional benefits with no risk.
On Tuesday 23rd February, Hammonds Solicitors will present the clinic ’Intellectual property and copyright.’ This will give insight into how to protect your ideas and new products and what to do if your intellectual property has been copied without your knowledge or permission.
Finally, on Wednesday 24th February, The Sourcing Team will present ’Successful sourcing of promotional merchandise.’ This will give guidance on briefing suppliers, safety and legislation, ethical and environmental practices as well as identifying the pitfalls to avoid.

Another initiative being launched at Incentive World is Promotions Live. This offers product demonstrations which promise to help the inspiration and ideas flow. Sessions run for a maximum of 10 minutes and promise to be well worth a visit.

Experts from leading industry companies such as The Grass Roots Group, Ernst and Young, P&MM, Argos, BI, HP Solution Partners Organisation and Brother UK will be among an array of speakers revealing how to attract customers, drive sales and motivate employees. Sessions are free to attend, and registration is not required. Full details can be found on www.incentive-world.co.uk/seminars
Visitors looking for new ideas and solutions for premium merchandise, incentive schemes, business gifts, sales promotion concepts, achievement awards, motivation programmes, incentive and group travel, promotional clothing, games and competition prizes, point of purchase, packaging and print will find Incentive World 2005 an unbeatable source of innovative solutions.
Event Director Sarah Coles-Porter says: Incentive World is the most established event in this inspiring industry. The exhibition and free seminars include thousands of incentive ideas to increase customer loyalty, grow sales and develop employee motivation. There is no other exhibition that allows visitors to meet so many quality incentive providers, with the opportunity to negotiate prices and lead times face-to-face.
Incentive World also gives visitors the chance to see, hear, touch, even smell and taste whole ranges of products and services that cannot often be easily appreciated via mailings, advertisements or websites.
Incentive World 2005 is organised in partnership with the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) and endorsed by The Institute of Sales Promotion (ISP) and The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). The event will be co-located with The International Direct Marketing Fair, making this the most important date in the marketer’s diary in 2005. For further information please visit www.idmf.co.uk
In addition the show is the main event taking place during National Incentive & Motivation Week (20-26 February 2005), which aims to increase the profile and awareness of incentives, promotions and motivation and to highlight the direct benefits that a successfully targeted promotional marketing campaign can have to UK businesses.
