Manpower Australia first in employment services industry to receive accreditation by RCSA Standard

RCSA has announced Manpower Australia, as the first in the industry to receive a whole-of-operation RCSA Standard accreditation

The Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) has announced employment services firm, Manpower Australia, as the first in the industry to receive a whole-of-operation RCSA Standard accreditation.

CEO of the RCSA, Ms Julie Mills, acknowledged Manpower Australia for its achievements at the RCSA Think Sharp conference on Friday, after the firm exceeded all requirements of its audit by the RCSA Standards Council.

ìManpower has delivered on its service promises, it provides outstanding service to clients and has shown a clear commitment to having training and feedback mechanisms in place,î said Ms Mills.

ìIt has clearly fulfilled what the RCSA Standard was designed to achieve and that is, to set the benchmark for the industry,î she said.

Director of Manpower Australia, Mr Lincoln Crawley, said he chose to adopt the RCSA Standard after realising how closely it aligned with their own systems and to maintain a competitive advantage in the industry.

ìWeíve had our business ISO accredited for over 10 years, this year we have opted to attain an RCSA accreditation as it is specifically designed for the recruitment industry and is in line with our brand attributes of being forward looking, expert and trustworthy, said Mr Crawley.

ìThe strength of this Standard is that it takes into account the nuance of the local market. It is critical that what we do is right for the local market, therefore, having a local Standard is important.

ìAccreditation with the RCSA Standard positions Manpower as a market leader setting the benchmark for the industry and allows us to be recognised for business and service excellence. It also reflects a consistent high standard of work practice recognised by the governing body of the recruitment industry,î he said.

ìWe are pleased with this recognition and have put forward plans to include New Zealand into the equation in the future,î said Mr Crawley.

RCSA Standard
Available only to RCSA Members, the Standard aims to provide a way for recruitment firms to differentiate themselves from others in the industry.

Organisations are assessed on their ability to fulfil requirements of the ëthree-way loop, which includes:
Clarity on what the business offers to the market
The companyís consistency and capabilities to deliver on its promise
Level of customer feedback acquired

The Standard also requires companies to have a feedback mechanism in place, clearly defined business processes and a commitment to induction and training.
