A recent poll has revealed that over 70% of job seekers would stay in their current positions if offered further incentives by their employers. The poll featured on the websites of financial recruiter FSS and sister company Crone Corkill, also showed less than 30% of respondents said there was nothing their company could do to keep them there.
The majority answered that a salary increase would convince them to stay with their current firm, while 14% said that they would need a promotion to keep them in their job. ìWith the war for talent showing no sign of slowing down, the good news for companies is that they may need look no further than identifying ways of developing their staff.î Comments Paul Marsh, Director of HR. ìThis also highlights that staff should be encouraged to speak up about how they feel and employers should be encouraged to ensure they measure staff satisfaction.
