Launch of new recruitment software will satisfy employers and job hunters demands to find and fill more vacancies online

The launch of a new internet based software programme will enable all recruiters to advertise on worldwide recruitment websites (ëjob boardsí) simultaneously at the click of a button. The People Genie software will accelerate the predicted trend for online recruitment to become the preferred method of recruiting.

www.peoplegenie.co.uk has logged over 60 enquiries from companies in the UK, the rest of Europe, America and even Australia since launching the preview website in mid December 2002. It is projected that over 1,000 companies will subscribe to the software in 2003 in line with the anticipated explosion of the online recruitment industry.

Marc Hendrickse, Managing Director of People Genie Ltd commented: ìWith 18 million regular Net users in the UK and job hunting listed as the fourth most popular activity on the Net, it is not surprising that it is now cited as the most cost effective and efficient way to recruit staff. However, most companies using online job boards only use the few they are familiar with and often rely on the marketing hype generated by each site for research.

ìWhen launched next week, People Genie will be able to send vacancies instantly to any number of job boards worldwide as well as provide up to date analysis on which sites are suitable for each sector and job type and which actually generate placements. Online recruitment is generally only utilised by large companies and recruitment specialists, however this software will enable all recruiters to use the internet effectively whether they need to fill five or 500 vacancies a year locally or globally.î

People Genie Ltd predicts capability for growth in the region of 200 per cent in the next 18 months even if the online community stays at 18 million. The new software will enable companies to target vacancies to industry specific sites as well as generic job boards, which is likely to fuel the latest Internet explosion.

In line with the general shift towards online recruitment, it is anticipated that a trend will emerge amongst large corporate companies to restructure their HR departments and focus more on in-house recruitment processes utilising the Internet.

Through a simple step by step process which takes no longer than 10 minutes, small businesses with ad hoc vacancies, to specialist recruitment companies will be able to fill out one template per vacancy to dramatically reduce the time spent sending advertisements to job boards. People Genie software is powered by Microsoft.NET and is compatible with any PC with internet access. This new programme will enable companies to re-evaluate their technology needs and may eradicate the need for traditional labour intensive and expensive client server software.

Marc Hendrickse continued: ìThe UK has a long way to go in utilising the Net for recruitment needs. If a company wants to place a vacancy with a government job centre the same day it becomes available they still need to make a call. The Internet has endless possibilities for enabling us to work more effectively; recruitment is just one example of an industry that can be rid of many unnecessary levels of bureaucracy through increased use of online facilities.

ìWe want to break down the barriers between external specialists and in-house teams so weíve pitched People Genie at a level where it will be perceived as an essential tool to assist with any companyís recruitment needs, no matter how big or small. People Genie will not be an exclusive product sold at a premium to recruitment specialists, we are anticipating to have signed up over 1,000 recruiters by the end of 2003 through an international network of agents such as selected job boards and also through direct sales.î

People Genie also boasts a CV database which applicants can interact with. Recruiters can use this service to automatically respond to applicants by SMS text messaging and e-mail from the first expression of interest to the instant a vacancy is filled. The software has been developed with the facility to be modified for any clientís bespoke requirements and although not available for the launch later this month, People Genie will also be adapted for sending job adverts to traditional print media.

The new technology will eradicate the need to train employees with each boardís criteria and technology by processing the data from one enquiry into the formats required for all national and international sites. People Genie can suggest which sites to use and asks the recruiter to complete a simple template. If European or International sites are selected with alternative criteria, additional questions may be asked on the template, however any translation and technical data is processed automatically.

Costing from 500 per annum for unlimited use, a revolutionary ëpay as you goí option will ensure the software is accessible to businesses of any size for all online recruitment requirements.
