KPMG is pleased to announce the appointment of three directors to its People Powered Performance (P3) practice as it continues to build the expertise offered to clients.

Bringing experience from roles across private and public sectors, the new directors offer expertise ranging from recruiting and on-boarding senior leadership teams and redesigning HR functions, through to implementing culture change programmes and driving employee engagement initiatives.

Simon Morris joins KPMG from Thomsons Online Benefits, a global employee benefit software and engagement solutions company.  He brings more than 14 years’ experience in workforce planning and analytics, HR and people technologies.  For the past seven years he has been focused in the employee benefits space developing strategies for a range of institutions across UK and Europe.

Ingrid Waterfield has been promoted to director having been with KPMG for 15 years, both in client facing roles and as part of KPMG’s HR Leadership team. Her experience lies in reward consulting across a diverse range of industries and sectors, specialising in reward interventions to increase company performance and improve employee motivation and engagement. She recently led the “Cracking the Code” gender diversity research on the health of the female pipeline in UK organisations in conjunction with The 30% Club and YSC.  She is also leading KPMG’s involvement as a member organisation of the Agile Future Forum.

Jonathan Green has also been promoted to director having been with the firm for 10 years.  He specialises in workforce analytics, utilising workforce and business data to provide organisations with evidence to support strategies to reduce costs and improve performance. His work has involved investigating the workforce drivers of customer experience and conduct risk in a retail bank. Jonathan is also a Qualified Actuary.

Commenting on the appointment Mark Williamson, Partner in KPMG’s P3 practice, says: “As we emerge from one of the toughest economic periods in living history, organisations across the UK are grappling with the dilemma of how to contain costs and also retain, develop and recruit new talent which is increasingly diverse in what it expects from its employer.  The knowledge and experience that three new directors bring are a welcome addition to the team and will strengthen our ability to provide strategic insights into the people issues for our clients.”
