Kinitron provides IT customers with a Rescue service for 1 a week

SME customers of Kinitron Total IT Care will now be able to enjoy the benefits of RescueITís highly affordable disaster recovery service.

As a result of a new joint marketing, sales and operational collaboration agreement, SME customers of Kinitron Total IT Care will now be able to enjoy the benefits of RescueITís highly affordable disaster recovery service.

With prices starting from just 1 per employee, per week for a company employing 50 people, the new service will provide temporary premises for up to eight weeks, new IT equipment and infrastructure and cover all installation expenses to enable an SME organisation to carry on its business should a disaster prevent it using its IT systems or its current premises.

Kinitron already provides a full range of IT support services from full design and supply to installation and maintenance contracts under their Total IT Care programme. Access to the speedy and efficient disaster recovery service provided by RescueIT will re-instate all the services essential to keeping companies in business when disaster strikes and the cover all of the relocation expenses.

ìDamage by fire, flood or storm can easily knock out a buildings utilities,î comments Kinitronís managing director, Xeno Andriopoulus, ìand theft of equipment is one of the most common causes of IT loss.

ìResearch by the DTI reveals that more than 70% of companies that suffer computer and data loss go out of business within 18 months, so this is a highly effective and cost-efficient way to ensure our clients stay in business should a disaster strike.

ìA single call to RescueITís 24/7 emergency response number will gain immediate access to a team of disaster response specialists, working around the clock, if necessary,î comments Ian Cockburn, CEO of RescueIT. ìThis is a very attractive and cost-effective service for our customers because it does not require any capital expenditure nor does it tie up unused premises or standby equipment for the eventuality of disaster. The improvement to risk management may also allow customers to reduce other insurance premiums.î

The RescueIT service, which is underpinned by Norwich Union insurance, provides rapid replacement of lost or damaged equipment, teams of skilled engineers to re-instate systems and data and relocation to nearby fully-equipped alternative offices if needed. As a result of the new partnership, Kinitron Total IT care will also be provided IT support to RescueITís clients.
