John brings wealth of I.T. knowledge to Brookson

.

Following a year of growth that has led to welcoming 11 new team members across various departments, Brookson, one of the leading providers of accountancy, tax advice and other support services to contractors, has recruited John Birch as information systems (IS) projects and development manager, to further improve the delivery and quality of the companyís internal and web-based accountancy services for Brooksonís customers.

John is originally from the Midlands and now lives in Warrington. He joins Brookson after several years of managing a software house specialising in financial services and insurance, where he focused on bringing structure and best practice to the business.

John will manage and enhance Brooksonís core business systems and is responsible for the delivery of internal and web-based technical projects. Due to the complex nature of accountancy and legal services, his remit also includes the management and enhancement of the Brookson project methodology.

Speaking about his new role, John said: ìThroughout my career Iíve spent time in marketing, banking and commercial management and have certainly found my niche in IT. While working as a software developer for an international marketing company I was fortunate enough to work on solutions for clients such as Kelloggís, Walt Disney and Cadburyís. I joined Brookson because the company is committed to providing ëbest of breedí services to its members, and understands the importance of technology in achieving this.

ìBrooksonís ethics of compliance, clarity and diligence really stand out in the industry, and Iím looking forward to growing with a business that doesnít stand still.î

In his spare time, John enjoys a good game of football and has a workshop at home where he makes silver and copper jewellery.

Brooksonís managing director Martin Hesketh comments: ìThe recruitment of John to further enhance Brooksonís internal and web-based accountancy services proves our commitment to, and investment in, our customers. The company has enjoyed growth in various operational teams over the past twelve months, with five new team members welcomed in the invoicing and sales ledger department, and six new faces in the customer management accounts team. All are proving hugely valuable in continuing to provide first class service to Brookson members, and have the attitude and experience we need to drive the business forward.î
