JobServe has seen a significant increase in the number of applications made by job seekers through its web site following the introduction of next generation matching software.
Figures for October 2006 show that the company has for the first time processed over 900,000 job applications in a single month and in five of the last six months itís exceeded the 800,000 mark.
Alchemy, the name given to the award winning technology, was developed in house and is patented by the Essex based firm. Alchemy analyses the behaviour of job seekers using the web site - searches made, locations and jobs applied for, are all taken into account along with CV content - it then offers candidates any new jobs advertised by recruiters that closely match their individual pattern.
Ian Frost, Marketing Manager at JobServe said ìWe are very excited to see the impact made by the introduction of Alchemy, it took a long time to develop and was only fully implemented in June. The matching technology is very accurate and our customers are now seeing the results across all the main industry sectors.
In a market where most job boards appear to offer a similar level of service itís important to maintain a competitive advantage and Alchemy has moved the game up a level, it could prove to be the most important innovation weíve made since the introduction of the first jobs by email service 13 years ago.î
