JOBNET and the ACS (Australian Computer Society) today launched a joint initiative called ìIT Professional of the Monthî, a new and exciting career resource for their users.
The IT Professional of the Month is a fresh approach to showcasing the stories and achievements of entrepreneurial IT community professionals.
ìWe are always focusing on improving the IT&T online community aspect of JOBNET and this was something different we could offer our candidates,î said JOBNET Customer Services Director, Colin Scott.
ìIt brings a human element to our job search website and enables our users to learn from other IT professionals.î
ìWe have numerous inspiring and successful IT professionals within our membership who are willing to share their story and offer career advice to thousands of similar professionals in the JOBNET community, said ACS Marketing Board Director, Jeff Garner.
Each month, visitors to the JOBNET site can learn about all facets of working in the IT&T industry as IT&T professionals explain how they got where they are today, their tips, training advice, entrepreneurial skills, achievements and more.
This new feature is part of JOBNETís ongoing initiative to provide more relevant career content for modern IT&T professionals.
