TMP Worldwide is confirmed as the recruitment communications partner for Jaguar Land Rover as part of a four-way competitive pitch which included the incumbent.
Jaguar Land Rover has had to rethink its recruitment strategy. Its sale to Tata in March 2008 means that many of the support services that Ford provided are no longer available. This means Jaguar Land Rover needed to staff up very quickly.
Des Thurlby, Human Resources Director for Jaguar Land Rover, says: The sale demonstrated our need to revitalise our recruitment communications. TMP Worldwide showed a real understanding of our business and presented innovative solutions backed up with expertise and a high level of service. We are delighted to be working with them on our recruitment communications.
The scope of work includes attraction and candidate management across both experienced and entry-level hires. TMP Worldwide has already been working on a new careers website, http://www.jaguarlandrovercareers.co.uk/ as part of a stand-alone project. This is the first significant piece of dual-branded recruitment that the company has undertaken.
It is a great opportunity to work with not just one but two renowned British brands, says Andrew Wilkinson, Chief Executive, TMP Worldwide. We are very excited to launch Jaguar Land Rover back into the recruitment market. We understand the need to maintain an external distinction between the two brands, whilst portraying to candidates the benefits of one business that shares the same employment values and beliefs.
