The Recruitment & Employment Confederation is pleased to announce that Midas Rec2Rec is the first Recruitment to Recruitment business to become an Advocate of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP)
In addition to its Advocacy, Midas Rec2Rec will be funding a year’s IRP membership for all candidates it places from last month (September) onwards.
Richard Clarke, Midas Rec2Rec Managing Director and Chairman of the REC R2R Sector Group says: “As an Advocate of the IRP, all our staff have IRP membership and they find it hugely beneficial. We are committed to aiding the development of the recruitment industry as a whole and were looking at ways to give something back to our clients and candidates. Providing an IRP membership is a great way to do this.”
Matt Dawson, Head of the IRP sees this as the beginning of new era for the IRP. Through the REC’s Rec2Rec Sector group, other Recruitment to Recruitment businesses who work closely with the IRP will be invited to join the Advocacy programme.
Anita Holbrow, the REC’s Director of Member Services says: “Reputation is everything no matter who you are and it never easy to make this clear. IRP membership ensures that everyone knows that the standards of service, value and effectiveness are first class. Midas has chosen to ensure that it uses IRP membership to help them attract, develop and place the best recruitment talent with the best recruitment businesses, and we are delighted with this important step forward.”
The IRP was launched in June 2009 to meet the ever increasing needs of professionals who deliver the UK’s recruitment services. The purpose of the IRP is to demonstrate professionalism in recruitment, develop the talent within the industry and reward best practice to ensure recruiters receive professional recognition for the valuable services provided.
