IOR Celebrates 2nd Birthday

The Institute of Recruiters, IOR (Recruiting and HR Professional Body) proudly celebrates its 2nd birthday today, and hails its first two years as a resounding success

The Institute of Recruiters, IOR (Recruiting and HR Professional Body) proudly celebrates its 2nd birthday today, and hails its first two years as a resounding success.

The IOR will come to be known as an organisation that brought about change in the industry, in particular with regards to regulated qualifications and curriculums that empower recruiters and HR professionals to achieve new heights.

Its educational programmes are due to launch nationwide in September 2013 and are set to make an impact in the sector.

Azmat Mohammed, IOR Director General said:
"This has been a thrilling two years as I have seen my vision for the IOR starting to take shape.  This institute will deliver high quality education, shaping careers in recruitment and HR for years to come. It will remain accessible in terms of membership fees, which are among the lowest in the industry. It will support members, listen to their concerns and strive to return exceptional value.

"The foundations are now set for the IOR to drive forward and set new standards for our industry. I would like to thank all those who have supported the IOR since its inception, some listed below and others such as Dave Barber and David Montague, both friends and supporters."

Key IOR Team Members:

Hannah Keep - IOR Academy MD: A true professional that works tirelessly for the IOR and has a passion for raising standards of training and CPD.

Jo Gregory - IOR Academy Director of Training & CPD: Jo has a passion and work ethic that is unmatched. She is determined to ensure our programmes and apprenticeships are the best they can be, returning great value to learners.

Darren Carter (Ambassador - North West) & Karen Turlay-Rose (Ambassador Support Lead): Both working incredibly hard each day to support the IOR in raising awareness, championing our cause and contributing ideas that will help improve services for members. They are selfless professionals.

Tam Tanna, IOR Programme Lead, Job Board Benefits: Tam has led the way in creating a hugely popular service offering that will save members a great deal of money and help their businesses to grow. What she promises - she delivers, and has shown immense leadership.

As the IOR prepares its September launch of a new set of qualifications for the industry, members can be assured it is working hard on their behalf to chart a new course for their prosperity.
