Insurance companies are being encouraged to participate in a leading benchmarking study, backed by the Association of British Insurers, looking at how human resources practices compare across the sector.
Agenda Consulting’s Insurance HR Benchmarking is a unique human resources benchmarking study, designed specifically for the UK insurance sector in partnership with ABI, and is led by a steering group of HR directors drawn from some of the leading insurance firms.
The study, which will be published in May 2011, enables insurance firms to compare areas such as workforce composition, recruitment and retention, learning and development and employee relations with other similarly-sized firms in the insurance sector.
An information session will be held at ABI from 12-2pm on 17 February for those companies interested in taking part. Paul Cann, HR Director at Groupama will deliver a case study on how they have used the reports.
Twenty eight firms participated in 2009’s study some of which include Allianz Insurance, AXA UK, Friends Provident, Lloyds Banking Group, Liverpool Victoria and MetLife.
The study runs until Friday 25 March 2011 with participants able to submit their HR data through a confidential and tailored online service.
Participation in the study and receipt of a full analysis of its results starts at £1,500 + VAT. To participate in Insurance HR Benchmarking 2011 please visit the Agenda Consulting website here or contact Tracy Jarvis at Agenda Consulting on 01865 263 720.
