IKM launch new project management assessment solution

IKM adds IKM ProjectManagerTM to its professional range of assessments to help organisations improve the success rate of their IT projects

IKM, a provider of web-based employee and candidate knowledge measurement solutions and services, today announce the release of IKM ProjectManagerTM, a solution for measuring the proficiency of project managers.

Available for both the Prince2 and Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies, IKM ProjectManagerTM is designed to assess the capabilities of managers for all types of IT projects.

Based on IKMís unique adaptive assessment methodology, IKM ProjectManagerTM allows you to produce a detailed view of a project managerís proficiency in the most cost efficient and effective way.

Using key sub-categories, IKM ProjectManagerTM provides the ability to determine absolute strengths and weaknesses in Project Scope Management, Resource Planning, Cost Estimation and Budget Control, Project Quality Management, Communication, Risk Analysis and Team Management and Development.

Developed in response to clients wanting to improve IT Project efficiency, IKM ProjectManagerTM has already been deployed in organisations across Europe.

ìThe management of an IT Project is very complex and requires a high level of skill across a broad area. Our clients want to reduce the risk of their IT projects, and improve the overall outcome. IKM allows our clients to go beyond a personal recommendation or verbal interview before they hire someone in this critical role ñ giving them more confidence in project success,î said Marie-Paule Donsimoni, CEO, IKM.

As an extension of IKM TeckChekTM, IKM ProjectManagerTM is available to all clients who subscribe to the IT Professional Range of assessments. Ensuring that project managers have an adequate level of skill to manage people, technology and process, IKM ProjectManagerTM ensures projects run on time, on budget, and to business specifications ñ ultimately reducing shelfware and cost blowouts.

IKMís web-based assessments are used to enhance and optimise hiring, training, project staffing, skill-gap analysis, benchmarking, career development and certification. IKMís assessments are available in most disciplines including IT, Call Centre, Healthcare, Clerical, Customer Service, Sales and Medical.
