IHRIM Chairman delivers 2004 annual review: A Year of Investment

The IHRIM 2004 Annual Review, has been delivered to members via the IHRIM.link magazine

The IHRIM 2004 Annual Review, written by chairman of the board Nov Omana, has been delivered to members via the IHRIM.link magazine. According to Mr. Omana, who is also managing principal of Collective HR Solutions, LLC, said, ìIn 2004, IHRIM focused on evaluating and investing in the quality and value of the products and services provided to members and customers.î This effort began with primary research of members to determine which products and services were of most value to them.

ìAfter our research was tabulated, we concentrated on a product and service evaluation ñ how to refine, add, change, enhance, leverage, or in some cases, eliminate certain products and services,î Mr. Omana explained. ìThe quality of IHRIMís resources for HR information managers is second to none, and through this effort we were able to see how to leverage magazine and book content to seminars, educational sessions, webinars, or other media. It was a highly useful exercise.î

The Annual Review elaborates on what changes have been and would be taking place in IHRIMís infrastructure and processes. There is also a section devoted to current and future strategic partnerships with professional organizations whose products and services are complementary and/or similar to IHRIMís.

ìFor nearly 25 years, IHRIMís members have been HR professionals who had, or wanted to have, a unique knowledge and understanding of how technology and systems could make the HR function operate more efficiently and effectively,î Mr. Omana stated. ìIHRIM continues to be the only association that provides in-depth resources enabling its members to achieve strategic objectives and career advancement through the integration of HR information technology and HR management.î

IHRIM 25th Anniversary celebration culminates at the HRMStrategies Conference and Exposition, May 1-4, 2005 in Reno, Nevada. Attendees can choose from eight pre-conference professional development seminars, and during the conference, more than 50 concurrent educational sessions (including a special track on HR outsourcing), informative and entertaining keynote speakers, networking social events and a top-of-the-line exposition with more than 100 of the industryís best vendors and consultants.
