HRsmart, a global provider of integrated talent management solutions, raises the bar with its Total Talent Profile, which brings together every aspect of the strategic talent management process into a single, comprehensive view of each employee.
HRsmartís Total Talent Profile gives managers a single place to view employee information relating to performance, career and employee development, preferences, skills and competencies. It allows a manager to take action from a single screen for management of appraisals, career paths, course work and more.
ìOne of HRsmartís fundamental goals is to provide channels for more communication between manager and employee in its solutions, and to further the ability of business leaders to better understand the talent that resides within their organization,î said Greg Strange, Vice President of Product Management for HRsmart. ìResearch shows that there is a great correlation between job satisfaction and the openness in communication and corporate transparency. The new features we have added to our solutions help further facilitate those important discussions.î
New enhancements to HRsmartís core talent management suite allow greater levels of configurability and enables clients to change processes more quickly as they grow and mature in their talent management strategy. The latest version of HRsmartís Integrated Talent Management suite provides new opportunities for employee feedback and collaboration. Enhancements include:
Job Comments: HRsmart developed a job comments section to give employees a chance to be heard regarding the roles they hold within a company. This is a channel where employees can express successes and challenges they encountered while in a particular position. Internal employees can review the comments posted before deciding if the job is a good fit for them.
Nominated 360 Participants: HRsmartís 360-Appraisal module is enhanced with the addition of a feature that allows employees to nominate 360 participants who work internally or externally, or suggest the removal of a possible participant. As expected, the manager remains the owner of the appraisal and can accept or reject the nomination or suggestion.
Mentoring: This new key feature added to HRsmartís Career Development and Succession Planning (CDSP) solution allows managers to capitalize on one of the most discussed topics in the HR industry today. Within CDSP, employees who are designated as mentors can receive requests from those who seek mentorship and manage the process with such collaboration tools as a message board and recommended course lists from the Learning Management System. In addition, mentors can be selected based on specific job roles, competencies or skills, so employees can select the person that is the best fit for their goals.
Collaborative Succession Plans: Succession planning discussions have historically taken place once or twice a year with all senior leaders in a room. This new feature within HRsmartís CDSP solution allows managers to go one step further to encourage ongoing discussion between managers, job incumbents, peers and others by soliciting continuous feedback. It allows succession plan owners to send out forced ranking requests to collaborators as a way to drive suitability designations for employees on the plan, and it also allows for potential ratings that are not tied to a particular job.
Manager Nominated Successors: Allows a manager to nominate employees to a particular succession plan to avoid overlooking a high potential employee in the promotion process.
Career Path Templates: Allow companies to develop a clear road map from position A to position B to assist managers in creating career paths for their employees. Employees benefit from a clear understanding of the requirements and suggested timelines to reach career goals.
