Recruitment specialist TeamJobs is based in Poole and was named Company of the Year in the Dorset Business Awards 2015.
This summer it moved its growing hospitality division to Bournemouth due to increased demand for candidates from the town's hotels and bars.
In the last month the hospitality team has been inundated with requests from local businesses for temporary waiters/waitresses, bar workers, housekeeping staff, kitchen porters and chefs, for December, the Christmas period and into January 2016.
TeamJobs' recruiter Rachel Wilson said: "This is always a busy time for Bournemouth's hospitality sector, but this year has seen a marked rise in the number of businesses looking for temporary staff."
She continued: "As soon as we fill a position, another short term contract comes in.
"It's a great opportunity for people looking to earn some extra money to work for some of the area's top hotels and eateries."
TeamJobs kicked off its Christmas jobs campaign with the help of Nicholas St. Peter, executive chef of the Highcliff Marriott Hotel in Bournemouth.
Rachel Wilson explained: "Between us, the members of the hospitality team have worked for some of the finest five star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants in the world, but none of us has ever actually made a Christmas pudding.
"Nick is a valued client of TeamJobs and when he offered us a master class in pudding making, we jumped at the chance to learn from an expert."
Chef Nicholas said: "This is a very busy time of the year at the Highcliff Marriott, with parties, festive feasts and Christmas guests all requiring hundreds of homemade, brandy-steeped puddings.
"It has been fun hosting TeamJobs and hope I have inspired them to attempt their own Christmas puddings next year."
