Hewitt Associates and Jobpartners join forces

Hewitt Associates, a global human resources services firm, has announced that it has formed an alliance with Jobpartners

Hewitt Associates, a global human resources services firm, has announced that it has formed an alliance with Jobpartners, the European leader in software solutions dedicated to PRM (People Relationship Management). The alliance will provide companies with new solutions for recruitment, performance and evaluation management, compensation, succession planning, personal development plans and managing mobility and careers.

In recruitment services, for example, clients will now be able to use state-of-the-art platforms which allow them to build relationships with candidates through specific marketing campaigns. This enables them to sift candidates through job-specific questions and is proven to reduce time-to-hire and cost-to-hire as well heightening the quality of job candidates.

Claire Isnard who leads Hewitt in France, said:
This is an innovative and unique alliance of HR expertise, technology and outsourcing, which should greatly enhance progress and growth in the HR function.

Hewittís worldwide leadership in consulting and outsourcing brings to this alliance the opportunity for HR directors to ensure efficient interaction between managers, employees and candidates. This talent management platform can be integrated into either an external or internal shared services centre.

Patrice Barbedette, founder and Joint General Director of Jobpartners, said:

This alliance will bring greater efficiency to the HR function and will allow HR to spend more time on quality management of employees, and on contributing to corporate strategy.

Jobpartners and Hewitt are not only leaders in their respective markets, but also believe in the importance of innovation in order to make continuous improvement to HR efficiency and business performance.

Until now, many of the technology solutions used by HR have proven to be time-consuming and costly, and have only slightly increased HR efficiency (shown by European research commissioned by Hewitt on the efficiency of the HR function)1. This is particularly evident in the talent management field, where collaborative systems involving HR, management and employees are often outdated or managed by over-complicated transactional systems, leading to inefficiency and user dissatisfaction.

Claire Isnard said:
The HR function is evolving to become an internal service provider for managers, employees and candidates, and this transformation is placing HR directors under increasing pressure to do more, better and faster - all at a lower cost. HR directors need to review and rationalise HR processes in order to increase the quality of services and decrease time and costs.
